Cookie Policy

Effective date: 16 October 2026

A cookie is a small file that a website asks your browser to store and send back on later visits, which is how a site can recognise a returning browser. Similar technologies do the same job by other means — storing values in the browser rather than in a file, loading an invisible image so a server records the request, or reading the configuration of your device to build a signature of it.

What we checked

Cookies set by this site
Not used. slowradius.online sets no cookies of any kind, including functional ones.
Cookies set by others through this site
Not used. Nobody sets a cookie through these pages, because no page loads anything from any other party — no analytics, no advertising, no pixels, no social buttons, no video embeds and no session identifiers.
localStorage
Not used. The site's only script handles the small-screen menu and the print button, and it writes nothing.
sessionStorage
Not used. Nothing is remembered between pages or within a visit.
IndexedDB
Not used. No database is created in your browser.
Tracking pixels
Not used. There are no images on this site at all; the decoration is drawn with CSS and inline SVG.
Browser fingerprinting
Not used. Nothing reads your fonts, canvas, screen configuration or device characteristics.
Web fonts and third-party scripts
Not used. Text is set in the fonts already on your system, and the single script file comes from this domain. A page here makes zero requests to any other server.
Server access logs
Used. Our hosting provider records each request to the site, as described below. This is the only entry on this list that happens.

Why there is no banner

Consent banners exist so that you can agree to, or refuse, storage that is not necessary. There is no such storage here, so a banner would have nothing to ask about. Showing one anyway — with an "Accept" button that accepts nothing — would misrepresent what the site does, and that is worse than no notice at all. This page is the notice instead.

What does happen

When your browser asks for a page, our hosting provider writes a line in an access log: your IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string. Those logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted. They are used to keep the site available, to look into abuse, and to diagnose faults. That is the entirety of what is recorded about a visit, and the Privacy Policy covers it principle by principle.

The checklists do not remember your ticks

The boxes on the All checklists page are printed squares drawn in CSS, not controls. Nothing on this site saves your progress through the course, because there is no localStorage, no sessionStorage, no IndexedDB, no cookie, no fingerprinting and no pixel to save it with. Reload any page and it will look exactly as it did the first time. If you want a record of what you have done, print the page and tick it with a pen.

After you follow the affiliate link

The course contains a paid affiliate link to the World of Tanks site, described on the Affiliate Disclosure page. Following it takes you to a different domain, and what happens there is not covered by this policy. That site and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains, typically to record that a visit came from here. Gydrotech s.r.o. does not control those cookies, cannot switch them off for you, and does not receive them. Read those parties' own cookie notices if you want to know what they set.

Blocking or clearing cookies in general

Nothing here needs blocking, but the controls are worth knowing. Every major browser has a privacy or content-settings section where you can block cookies entirely, block only third-party cookies, clear what is already stored, or have everything cleared automatically each time you close the browser. Private or incognito windows discard cookies and storage when the window closes. Blocking all cookies will break sites that genuinely need them, such as anything you sign in to, which is why most people block third-party cookies rather than all of them.

If this ever changes

We have no plan to introduce cookies. If that ever changed, this page would be rewritten and published with a new effective date, and a working consent mechanism would be in place before any non-essential cookie was set — not afterwards, and not with consent assumed from continued reading.
