Privacy Policy
Effective date: 16 October 2026
This policy explains what Gydrotech s.r.o. does with personal information in connection with the website at slowradius.online. The company is a Czech company with its registered office at Březová 2337, 393 01 Pelhřimov, Czech Republic, company registration 03960366, reachable at info@slowradius.online. Gydrotech s.r.o. publishes the five-step course on this domain and is the entity responsible for the handling described below.
Personal information in connection with this site is handled in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the thirteen Australian Privacy Principles, which the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner publishes at oaic.gov.au/privacy/australian-privacy-principles. Because the site does so little, most of what follows is a record of what does not happen. The policy is set out principle by principle so you can check each one rather than take our word for the total.
This policy covers slowradius.online and nothing else. Links in the course lead to other websites — government bodies, manufacturers, and the paid affiliate link to the World of Tanks site described on our Affiliate Disclosure page — and each of those sites has its own policy, which governs what happens once you are there.
APP 1 — Open and transparent management of personal information
This page is the policy the principle requires, and it is linked from the footer of every page of the site. It is written to be read rather than to be defensible: where a principle has nothing to bite on here, it says so instead of filling the space. Questions about it go to info@slowradius.online or to the postal address above. Gydrotech s.r.o. keeps the site deliberately simple — no forms, no accounts, no analytics — because the least risky way to handle personal information is not to collect it.
APP 2 — Anonymity and pseudonymity
You can read every page of this course without identifying yourself. There is nothing to sign in to and nothing to fill in. If you write to us, you may use a pseudonymous email address and need not give your real name — the only exception is a request for access to or correction of information about you, where we may need enough detail to be sure we are dealing with the right person and not disclosing somebody else's information to you.
APP 3 — Collection of solicited personal information
Two categories of information exist, and that is the complete list.
Server access logs. Our hosting provider records the ordinary technical details of each request: your IP address, the date and time, the URL requested, the referring page if your browser sends one, and the user-agent string identifying your browser and operating system.
Email you send us. If you write to info@slowradius.online, we hold your email address, your name if you give it, the content of your message and any attachment.
Nothing else is collected. There is no contact form, no newsletter, no sign-up, no account, no progress saving, no quiz, no phone field and no chat. No cookies are set. No web fonts, analytics, advertising tags or third-party scripts are loaded. No profiling or cross-site tracking takes place. The pages of this site request nothing from any other server at all — every file a page needs comes from slowradius.online.
APP 4 — Dealing with unsolicited personal information
Sometimes an email contains information we did not ask for and do not need in order to reply — a signature block full of personal details, a document attached by mistake, information about a third party. Where it is lawful and reasonable to do so, we delete that material rather than keep it. We do not file it, index it or pass it on.
APP 5 — Notification of the collection of personal information
This page is the notification. The logs are collected automatically by our hosting provider as part of serving the site, for the purposes in APP 6 below. Email is collected because you chose to send it, and we use it to reply. We do not collect personal information from anyone other than you, and we hold nothing we were given by a third party.
APP 6 — Use or disclosure of personal information
Access logs are used to keep the site available, to investigate abuse such as attempts to break into the hosting account, and to diagnose faults. Email is used to answer the message and to keep a record of the conversation in case the subject comes up again.
Neither category is used for anything else. Personal information connected with this site is never sold, rented, traded, or shared with anyone for marketing. It is disclosed to a government body or a court only where the law requires it, and we will say so publicly where we are permitted to.
APP 7 — Direct marketing
None is carried out. There is no mailing list, no newsletter and no subscriber database. We do not send reminders about the course, follow-up messages, or offers of any kind. If you email us, we reply to that email and nothing further.
APP 8 — Cross-border disclosure of personal information
Two recipients exist and they are the only ones: our hosting provider, which holds the access logs, and our email service provider, which holds the mailbox. Neither is a party we have chosen to name in this policy, and we do not pass information to anyone else.
Both may store or process data outside Australia, including in locations we do not control the choice of. Gydrotech s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so data associated with this site is in practice handled in or from Europe. If it matters to you where a particular piece of information sits, write to us and we will tell you what we know.
APP 9 — Adoption, use or disclosure of government related identifiers
This principle has no application here. No government-related identifier — no tax file number, Medicare number, driver licence number or similar — is adopted as an identifier, used, or disclosed by this site, and none is ever requested.
APP 10 — Quality of personal information
The information held is small and factual: a log line generated automatically, or an email you wrote yourself. If something we hold about you is wrong — a misspelled name in correspondence, for instance — tell us and we will correct it.
APP 11 — Security of personal information
The site is served over HTTPS. There is no database behind it, no form processing, and no stored submission of any kind, because nothing is submitted. The hosting account and the mailbox are accessible only to people working for Gydrotech s.r.o., using individual credentials. Email and logs are deleted at the end of the retention periods below.
We hold no certification and claim no security standard beyond this description. No system is perfect, and the honest protection here is scope: there is very little to lose.
APP 12 — Access to personal information
You may ask what personal information we hold about you. Email info@slowradius.online with "Privacy request" in the subject line. Asking costs nothing. We reply within 30 days. For logs, be aware that a request is only answerable if you can tell us something that identifies the relevant entries, such as an IP address and an approximate time; without that, we have no way to find you in a log file, which is itself a form of privacy.
APP 13 — Correction of personal information
The same address, the same subject line, the same 30 days, at no charge. If we disagree that a correction is needed, we will say why in writing, and you can ask us to attach a statement noting that you consider the information inaccurate.
How long things are kept
Server access logs are kept for 30 days and then deleted. Email is kept for 24 months after the last message in the conversation, then deleted, unless it is needed for a legal claim — in which case it is kept until that matter ends.
Affiliate links
The course contains a paid affiliate link, as the Affiliate Disclosure explains. When you follow it you leave slowradius.online. From that point, the World of Tanks site and the affiliate network that operates the link may set cookies or use similar technology on their own domains to record that the referral came from here, under their own privacy policies rather than this one.
Gydrotech s.r.o. receives commission reports from that network. They are used only to reconcile what we are owed, and we do not seek, request or attempt to derive information identifying individual readers from them.
Complaints
Write to info@slowradius.online first, describing what you think went wrong. We answer within 30 days. If our answer does not satisfy you, you may complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner, which explains the process at oaic.gov.au/privacy/privacy-complaints.
Data breaches
If we have grounds to suspect that personal information connected with this site has been accessed or disclosed without authorisation, or lost, we assess it promptly. Where serious harm to an individual is likely, we notify the people affected and the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner in line with the Notifiable Data Breaches scheme.
Children
This course is written for adults and is not directed at people under 16. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and since the site has no forms, accounts or tracking, there is nothing here that could identify a child as a child.
If you are in the EU, the EEA or the UK
Gydrotech s.r.o. is established in the Czech Republic, so the General Data Protection Regulation also applies to this handling.
The legal basis for keeping server access logs is our legitimate interests in keeping the site available, secure and working correctly. The legal basis for handling email is responding to the enquiry you chose to send us. There is no consent basis anywhere in this policy because there is nothing to consent to: no cookies are set and no tracking takes place.
You have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing based on legitimate interests. Use the same address and subject line as above. You may also lodge a complaint with the Czech supervisory authority, the Office for Personal Data Protection (Úřad pro ochranu osobních údajů), at uoou.gov.cz, or with the authority in your own country of residence.
Changes to this policy
When this policy is revised, the effective date at the top is updated. If a change is material — a new recipient, a new category of information, a longer retention period — a note saying so is shown at the top of this page for 30 days.
